IMPRESSIONS ⮜
Image reference. Light brown hair, hazel eyes, visibly on the short side and pretty weak-looking. Nothing really stands out about Naegi in terms of physical appearance.
Voiced by Megumi Ogata (click to listen). He's pretty soft-spoken and gets emotional easily so one can read how he's feeling from the tone of his voice right away.
Probably just things like common soap and laundry detergent.
What you see is kind of what you get with Naegi. He looks and acts in a casual, somewhat humble or unassuming manner, without a lot of stiffness or formality. Can appear hesitant at times and come off as a pushover, but nothing over-the-top; he's just earnest and easy to read in general. Also, he tends to be optimistic and encouraging, so he'll feel open and accommodating; but in a crisis or in emotionally charged situations, he may hold his ground more than expected.

I won't typically do this, but I also don't super mind it to be honest, especially if it's just for jokes.
Go for it! Absolutely no issues. Naegi's a very friendly, open-book guy, and although he has a good sense of other people's boundaries, he himself doesn't have many hold-ups regarding affection. At most he might get flustered if it's too out of nowhere.
Sure? He's just a normal guy and not really the type, so he won't be much good in a fight. The most he has is his luck if you wanna play with that.
Open to both gen and shipping (m/f and m/m). Favorite canonmate for shipping is Kirigiri, but Togami or Maizono would be great too and I'm willing to give pretty much anything else a try! I also really live for interactions with the other DR protags, and cross-canon is more than welcome. I'm super flexible when it comes to this character.
He has no special psychic abilities. If your character can read minds, they probably wouldn't have any trouble seeing his thoughts. On the other hand, things like manipulation or control might be trickier depending on approach; Naegi is a Protag™ and has a stronger will than it first appears.
On principle, he's the most average guy imaginable. The only noteworthy thing about Naegi in terms of abilities is his SHSL (or Ultimate) talent, which is Luck. Aura-wise, a subtle sense of Hope also dwells within him at all times, which becomes more prominent in difficult situations. If these are things you feel your character would perceive, feel free to have them notice either.
Physically, nothing in particular needs to be noted. Mentally, some of his memories may be fragmented or missing, depending on canon point and circumstances.
Naegi is your typical good guy and has a very empathetic nature, which means as a general rule he's not too difficult to disturb. He'll be unsettled by bad things happening, or by the idea of people around him suffering and dying; betrayal may also hit a sore spot. Despite this, he's quite the opposite of easy to break, and is resilient enough to ultimately withstand whatever is thrown at him. It's kind of his thing in canon to become "hope" for those around him and inspire them not to give up in the face of adversity.
I can't really think of any problems in particular that could arise from the character himself, but the series he's part of is full of a lot of triggering content. If you have any specific worries, you can let me know just to be safe.
